Visit one of Marlborough’s iconic wineries for a private tour this morning. Your tour begins with an introduction into the world of Cloudy Bay’s ‘terroirs’ on a vineyard tour aboard Cloudy Bay’s custom restored Land Rover Defender. Your guide will stop at preferred vineyard sites to illustrate the variety of soil and microclimate types at the source, giving you an in-depth insight into the wine’s resulting flavor and aromatic profile.
Enjoy lunch at a local winery before you begin the afternoon with a behind the scenes tour of Mahi winery. The Mahi label started in 2001 with an idea to show the individuality of the various valleys and vineyards throughout Marlborough and this focus of recognizing and celebrating the diversity within Marlborough still continues. The primary emphasis for all of Mahi’s wines is texture, aiming for wines that give real palate satisfaction. (Breakfast, Lunch, pre-dinner drinks with canapés & Dinner)
