Enticing Egypt

When you think of Egypt, what comes to mind is the River Nile. The river flows north ultimately emptying into the Mediterranean Sea. So confusingly, the southern part of Egypt is known as “Upper Egypt” and the northern area is known as “Lower Egypt. Located within this part of the Nile is the world’s most extensive concentration of palaces, tombs and temples built over a period of 4,000 years. This includes the Temples of Dendara, Karnak, Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Philae and Abu Simbel, and the tombs within the Valley of the Kings across the river from Luxor. As the river continues to flow north it branches out into a flower-shaped formation known as the Nile Delta, Egypt’s most agriculturally rich land with some of the most beautiful, soul-rejuvenating nature the country has to offer.
